How it works
Tell your estimator you’d like financing and they’ll walk you through the options during your free estimate. The application takes a few minutes on a phone or tablet, most decisions come back while the estimator is still at the house, and approval doesn’t obligate you to anything.
Financing is provided by third-party lenders, not by Summit. We don’t mark up our prices for financed jobs, and the quote you get is the same quote whether you pay by check, card or monthly payment.
Pairing financing with an insurance claim
Many of our customers use short-term deferred-interest financing to cover the deductible and any upgrades, such as moving from standard shingles to Class 4 or metal, while the insurance portion is paid directly by the carrier. Our claims specialist can show you exactly how the numbers line up before you decide.
Questions to ask about any roofing financing
Is there a prepayment penalty? (Ours: no.) What happens if a deferred-interest balance isn’t paid in time? (Interest is charged from day one, so plan to pay it off.) Is the rate fixed? (On our term plans, yes.) We’ll answer all of these in writing.
