How much does a new roof cost in the Denver area?

Most residential replacements in the metro fall in a broad range depending on roof size, pitch, number of layers, decking condition and the shingle or metal you choose. Because those factors swing the price so much, we quote in person after walking the roof. The estimate is free and itemized, and it’s good for 30 days.

Do you really offer free estimates?

Yes. An estimator walks your roof, usually within 48 hours of your call, photographs what’s there and sends you a written quote. No charge and no obligation, whether or not you hire us.

How long will my roof replacement take?

Most homes are torn off and re-roofed in one working day. Very large, steep or multi-layer roofs can take two. We confirm the schedule before the crew arrives.

Will you work with my insurance company?

That’s one of our specialties. Our claims team documents the damage, meets the adjuster on the roof, submits a scope in the same software your carrier uses, and files supplements for anything the first estimate missed. You pay your deductible and nothing more.

What is a Class 4 shingle and do I need one?

Class 4 is the highest impact rating under the UL 2218 test, which drops a 2-inch steel ball on the shingle to simulate hail. In Colorado, we recommend Class 4 on every roof. The upgrade cost is modest and many insurers discount premiums for it.

What warranty comes with a Summit roof?

Two. The manufacturer warrants the materials, typically 50 years on the products we install. Summit warrants the workmanship for as long as you own the home. If it leaks because of how we installed it, we fix it free.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold roofing licenses in every jurisdiction we work in, carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and will send certificates to you or your HOA on request.

Do you use subcontractors?

Our residential and metal crews are Summit employees led by foremen who have been with us for years. We occasionally partner with specialty trades, such as electricians for solar disconnects, but roofing is done by our people.

What if I find a problem after the job?

Call us. Warranty service calls are scheduled the same week, and a foreman, not a salesperson, comes out to look.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through third-party lenders, with $0-down and deferred-interest options subject to credit approval. Ask your estimator or see our financing page.

Not sure if your roof needs work?

Get a free, no-pressure inspection with photos of what we find. If your roof is fine, we'll tell you so.
